Possible Breeding Outcomes From Genetic Crosses

I started to create a page describing basic Boa Genetics, but I found an excellent set of webpages created by New England Reptile Distributors that give a terrific presentation and background on Herp Genetics! There's no reason to reinvent the wheel when they have done such a masterful job, so if you need to learn the basics of Herp Genetics, please visit NERD's Intro to Reptile Genetics.

I have listed below the potential breeding outcomes of litters from the snakes that I have or that I have available for sale. It took me quite a while to put these pages together, but it should help if you have questions as to what would happen if you bred "x" with "x". Please remember that these outcomes are according to the Punnett Square, and actual outcomes may (and probably will) differ, especially if the litter is small.

Potential litter outcomes involving Anerys Het Sharp Albino (Het Sharp Snow)

Potential litter outcomes involving Double Hets (Het Sharp Albino, Het Anery)

Potential litter outcomes involving Co-dominates (Motleys, Jungles, etc.)

Potential litter outcomes involving Albino 66% Het Anerys

Potential litter outcomes involving Anery 66% Het Albinos

Potential litter outcomes involving Normal 66% Possible Double Het's (Het Sharp Albino, Het Anery)
